I'm OFFICIALLY out of retail guys!!
Yesterday was my last day at the bookstore ~~ I'm about to start a new chapter in my life, and although I'm a bit nervous about the change -- I'm super excited too!!

Two of my brothers work there already and they love it. They NEVER get stressed out. And that’s exactly what kind of job I needed to get. It will mesh well with all of the creative plans I have with art and writing X) AND I WON'T DREAD CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR!! I can't remember the last time I didn't dread it ;w; retail sucks out your soul, kids.

So anyway ~ I’ll be working from 8-4:30p.m. Monday-Friday regularly now (unless they ever give me overtime) and I’ll have weekends and holidays off ~ 

SO yes - I’m really excited!! I’m so thankful to God right now ~~

This will really help me get my finances on track AND help me afford the things I really need – like clothes and art supplies.. haha… so yay!!

Other than that -- I do have some other news!!

Me and Amelia will be starting to release comic pages for  our webcomic "The Safekeepers" starting next week!
So be sure to keep an eye on it! We have a DA page (but it's not updated yet), but we also have a tumblr (which is the most active atm), and a Facebook page for it.
It'll also be posted on ComicFury! (Which is in the process of being set up - I'll let you know when it's live there)

Alongside that, I'm also working on another comic idea by myself for "The Discarded" -- which you'll see more updates on that as I go ~ AND Amelia and I have another little project we will be playing around with on the side too.
(Amongst other things in the works... haha... there's so much going on. I mayyy even have plans for Serenity Academy this upcoming year too if all goes smoothly.. hmmm you shall see)

Comic stuff and daily doodles are my main focus right now! And you'll see more original character prints, and copic works for my Etsy over time as well!
I'll be switching my three shops over to JUST original character stuff this upcoming year too btw! I've realized I really, really don't like drawing fan art to sell. It isn't fun to me.. it's not my PASSION.
So if any of you wanted to buy any of my fan art work -- you gotta grab it before the end of January! Then I'll be taking all the fan works down!!

+ If you commission original art, you must have good references or simple, but clear descriptions. (I also tend to ask a lot of questions to get your character right!!)

+ Characters must be mostly human-like in appearance.
